Warren Zevon – Bad Luck Streak in Dancing School 180g 45 RPM 2LP
Hear Warren Zevon’s 1980 fourth album, Bad Luck Streak in Dancing School, on a numbered 180g 45 RPM 2LP from Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. Sourced from the original analog master tapes, pressed at Fidelity Record Pressing, and housed in a Stoughton gatefold jacket, this edition pairs Zevon’s sharp songwriting with detailed audiophile mastering.
The album moves from the orchestral opening of the title track to the piano-led tenderness of “Empty-Handed Heart” and the rowdy drive of “Play It All Night Long.” Zevon is joined by musicians including Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, and members of the Eagles, bringing rich vocal layers and instrumental color to his dark humor and storytelling.
