Shipping policy

Shipping Zones and Rates:

We currently ship to US and Canada. Orders containing media only (records, CDs etc.) can ship at a flat economy rate of $5.99 per order to US addresses (some exclusions apply). Non media items and all items shipping to Canada  will ship on a weight/zone based shipping method. If you are shipping to a US address and would like to take advantage of our flat media shipping rate, please place a separate order for your non media items. When non media items are mixed in with media items, the economy rate will not be available to choose during checkout. 

Although media shipped using the economy rate will normally ship by USPS Media Mail service, we reserve the right to select the carrier and ship method at our discretion within the terms of this offer. Normal processing times may range between 1-3 days or longer in rare circumstances. Shipping times stated during checkout are in addition to processing time and are provided as an estimate only. Shipping may be impacted by many variables including weather, service outages, missed carrier pickup (it happens) and human error. Please understand that Media Mail is not a time guaranteed service by USPS. If your order is time sensitive we suggest selecting an alternate shipping method. 

Pre-Order availability dates are estimates only. While we do our best to provide accurate information,  pre-orders are not guaranteed to ship by the date provided in the product listing. Funds are collected at the time of placing a pre-order. In rare circumstances a vendor may ship us a smaller number of items than ordered and a pre-order may be cancelled. We do our best to "buffer" our orders with our suppliers in order to fulfill pre-orders but the actual number we receive is out of our control. Orders with In stock and pre-order items will ship when all items become available.

A courtesy return label may be provided for return orders. If used, the cost of shipping will be deducted from the authorized return amount. 

Green Shipping Policy:

We hate waste! To help do our part to conserve (and save money too!) we may re-use shipping boxes and packing material from our suppliers, from personal shipments, from staff and friends or wherever. However, in some cases we won't have enough supply of previously used shipping material and will also need to use some new stuff.
