A classic rock landmark
Released in 1971 as The Who's fifth studio album, Who's Next features "Baba O'Riley," "Behind Blue Eyes," and "Won't Get Fooled Again." Much of the material grew out of Pete Townshend's ambitious Lifehouse project, pairing synthesizer textures with the powerful interplay of Townshend, Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle, and Keith Moon.
From the pulsing opening of "Baba O'Riley" to the dramatic finale of "Won't Get Fooled Again," this album rewards an uninterrupted listening session. Its blend of expansive arrangements, reflective songwriting, and hard-driving performances makes it a cornerstone of a classic rock vinyl collection.
UHQR pressing and packaging
This edition uses 200g Clarity Vinyl, a formulation without carbon black, and the flat UHQR pressing format. The heavyweight tip-on gatefold jacket and textured clamshell box provide a distinctive presentation for this numbered release.
