Psychedelic rock with soul and lyrical depth
The Experience's second album brings together Hendrix's imaginative guitar work, Mitch Mitchell's drums, and Noel Redding's bass. Recorded at Olympic Studios in London by Eddie Kramer and produced by Chas Chandler, it balances adventurous studio textures with the intimate beauty of "Little Wing," "Castles Made Of Sand," and "One Rainy Wish."
Settle in for the shifting moods of "If 6 Was 9" and the expressive closing title track. This stereo edition emphasizes the album's spacious arrangements and makes a distinctive addition to a Hendrix or audiophile vinyl collection.
UHQR Clarity Vinyl
The records use a flat UHQR profile from lead-in to run-out and hand-selected Clarity Vinyl without carbon black colorant. Each pressing is hand inspected before release, with the record and accompanying materials housed in a deluxe clamshell box.
