The Stooges – Self-Titled Debut on MoFi Hybrid Stereo SACD
Experience The Stooges, the band's groundbreaking 1969 debut, on Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Hybrid Stereo SACD. Sourced from the original master tapes and reissued to celebrate Elektra 75, this edition is limited to 2,500 numbered copies and comes in mini-LP-style gatefold packaging.
Featuring "I Wanna Be Your Dog," "No Fun," and "1969," the album channels raw Detroit rock into a sound that helped lay the groundwork for punk. Iggy Pop's vocal sneer, Ron Asheton's fuzz-laden guitar, Dave Alexander's bass, and Scott Asheton's drums give these eight tracks their gritty, uncompromising character.
