Genesis’ Foxtrot pairs powerful progressive rock with intricate, fantastical arrangements on Analogue Productions Atlantic 75 Series hybrid stereo SACD. This edition is mastered directly to DSD from the original master tape by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering.
Released in 1972, the band’s fourth studio album features “Watcher of the Skies,” “Get ’Em Out by Friday” and the expansive, approximately 22-minute “Supper’s Ready.” The music moves between forceful instrumental passages and delicate pastoral textures, with Peter Gabriel’s evocative lyrical imagery adding to its theatrical character.
Settle into the complete six-track album, from the opening “Watcher of the Skies” through “Horizons” and the closing suite “Supper’s Ready.” This Atlantic 75 edition celebrates the 75th anniversary of Atlantic Records.
