Foreigner’s self-titled 1977 debut pairs Mick Jones’ muscular guitar riffs with Lou Gramm’s soaring vocals on rock staples including “Feels Like the First Time” and “Cold as Ice.” This Analogue Productions Atlantic 75 Series hybrid stereo SACD is mastered directly from the original master tape by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound.
The album balances hard-rock energy with polished arrangements, from “Long, Long Way from Home” to “Starrider” and “Headknocker.” Settle into the complete ten-track debut and revisit the songs that introduced Foreigner’s signature sound.
