Carefully restored from the original session tapes

Paul Blakemore transferred the original three-track session tapes to high-resolution 24-bit/96 kHz digital files, which were mixed by Jochem van der Saag. Blakemore used an all-analog signal-processing chain for mastering, and Bernie Grundman created the lacquer master for this vinyl edition. This release uses a high-resolution digital transfer in its production process; it is not described as an all-analog recording chain.

A historic live recording

Columbia Records captured Streisand's Bon Soir show across three nights in 1962, before ultimately choosing a studio recording for her debut album. These performances offer a portrait of an emerging artist, combining theatrical storytelling, playful cabaret selections, and deeply felt ballads. Streisand authorized this collection for release six decades later.
